Wedgefield station 7 is operated by the Sumter Fire Department. This is our unofficial web site.  We serve the western portion of Sumter County from 378 at the Wateree River to Poinsette State Park and to the western portion of the city limits.  Station 7 operates an Engine, Tanker, Service truck, and a Brush truck. We have Approximately  20 vollunteer  members and one day time Engineer/First Responder
